Travis Katski is a third generation President of Colonial Electric Company, Inc. Travis began working full time at Colonial in January 1994 as a Laborer. During the next five years, he worked his way up to Site Crew Manager and Journeyman Electrician. After eight years, Mr. Katski transitioned to the Office as an Estimator and Project Manager. In 2000, Travis took over a greater role in the strategic management of the Firm following his father’s career-ending heart attack.

In 2001, Travis was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Colonial Electric. In 2005, Travis was elected President of the Board of Directors. Under Travis’ leadership, the Company has grown from revenues of less than $5 million to revenues of over $22 million in fiscal year ended September 30, 2008.

Mr. Katski holds a BS in Sports Management from Towson University. Travis also graduated from ABC Apprenticeship School for Electric and holds a Masters Electricians License in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.

Travis has served as a Board Member for several organizations including Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., The Summit School and Independent Electrical Contractors.
